Attaching a file template

This action allows you to attach files associated with the Jadu Central form submission to a Jadu Connect case. In order to use this action, you'll need to create a template, which tells Jadu Central how to send information about the form to Jadu Connect.

Creating a Attaching a file template​

  1. Open a form, and navigate to Templates in the top navigation bar.
  2. Click the Create Template button. A window will open, asking which type of action we want to create a template for.
  3. Select Attach File under the "Jadu Connect" section, and click the Next button. We'll then be taken to the template builder for this action.
  4. Enter a title and click the Next button.
  5. Specify the case reference mapping. You can map a question, variable or logic formulae. Alternatively enter manual text by typing it into the search box for the field and pressing the return key.
  6. In the Uploads field, select each file upload question to attach its files to the Jadu Connect case.
  7. Optionally, enable the toggle for Generated PDF (if present) if your from is configured to run a PDF Generation action prior to this action, and you want to pass the PDF to the case.
  8. Leave the Run as signed in user toggle enabled. This ensures that the action is done by the signed in user, and not the user associated with the API key in Jadu Connect.
  9. Click the Save button to create the template.
