Creating a service request template

Jadu Central can integrate with Bartec Collective, to share data about waste management. To assist this a form action is provided for creating service requests in Bartec Collective.

Creating a Bartec service request template

  1. Open a form, and navigate to Templates in the top navigation bar.
  2. Click the Create Template button. A window will open, asking which type of action we want to create a template for.
  3. Select Raise Service Request under the "Bartec Collective" section, and click the Next button.
  4. Enter a title and click the Next button.
  5. Select the service request type to raise and click the Next button.
  6. Set the initial status for the service request and click the Next button.
  7. Complete the mappings in the final step. You can map a question, variable or logic formulae to each one. Alternatively enter manual text by typing it into the search box for the field and pressing the return key. Once complete, click the Save button to create the template.

Service request references

When the Raise Service Request action runs successfully, Bartec Collective returns a reference for the service request, which Jadu Central stores as the result of the action.

It may sometimes be useful to display this reference, for example on the form complete page, or in an email alert.

To help with this, a variable is provided called Bartec Collective - Service Request Reference.

You can find this in:

  • the standard tab of the variable picker,
  • the mapping selector when creating templates for other actions.
