Menu manager

Menu Manager is a visual interface to reorder categories, add external links, specify alternate names, hide items, and manage rich content associated with menu entries.

Menu Manager must be implemented as part of your template before it has an effect on your menu navigation.

Using the Menu Manager

1. Go to Utilities and choose Menu Manager
2. Press the New Menu button
3. Add a menu Title and Machine name. The Machine name is a reference name for themes. It should be lowercase and contain no spaces or special characters - except for hyphens(-)
4. Press the Create Menu button

Importing an existing category structure

When a new Menu is created you will be given the option to import from the existing category structure. If you would like to do this, press the Queue import button.

When the existing navigation is imported it will be shown as a list:

Creating new Menu Items

1. Press the Add Item button.
2. Add the Menu Item details

3. Save the Menu Item.

Deleting Menu and Menu Items

Delete a Menu

1. Tick the menu you would like to delete.
2. Go to Actions then Delete.
3. Tick the box to confirm you want to delete the Menu and all Menu Items.
4. Press Delete.

Delete a Menu Item

1. Press the Delete link in the Menu Item row.
2. Tick the box to confirm you want to delete the Menu and any sub Menu Items.
3. Press Delete.
