Scheduled tasks
Jadu Central has a number of tasks running in the background at fixed times.
They action a number of functions including:
- Publishing the category list
- Running scheduled link checker reports
- Running the content schedule
- Processing multimedia files
- Sending emails
- Directory record import and export
Navigating to the System information area
The status of scheduled tasks can be monitored on the system information page.
- Click the Utilities icon in the left navigation bar. The Utilities menu will open.
- Click the System information link in the second group of links. The System information area will now be shown.
Restarting stalled tasks
If you experience issues with scheduled tasks, you may need to restart the task.
To restart a task, try the following:
- Navigate to the System information area
- To restart a single task, click the Restart button at the end of the row.
- To restart multiple rows, check the checkbox next to the required rows, click the Actions button and select Restart Selected Tasks from the options provided.
