Managing Appliances
The Appliances component provides the facility to link your website to an installation of Google search hardware.
Navigating to the Appliances area
- Click the Rupa icon in the left navigation bar. The Rupa menu will open.
- Click the Appliances link in the first group of links. A list of appliances will now be shown.
Appliances fields
| Field | Notes | Required? |

| Title | The name that you choose to assign to the appliance (e.g. primary, secondary). Not shown on the website. | ✅ |
| Site Search ID | Google Site Search ID that should be used for site search. | ✅ |
| Default collection | The collection to use for the main site search. | |
| Failover appliance | Specify a backup Google box from the Appliances list view for backup/failover purposes. | |
| Live | Whether this appliance is currently in use. |
