ESRI ArcGIS Online
ESRI ArcGIS Online maps can be used to display map data in the application in place of other solutions, such as Google Maps or Open Street Maps.

You must have a subscription to ArcGIS online in order to use the ESRI ArcGIS Online map integration, and the integration requires that a user's credentials are stored in Jadu Central in order to interact with the ArcGIS RESTful API.
Navigating to the ArcGIS Online area
- Click the Settings icon in the left navigation bar. The Settings menu will open.
- Click the Integrations link in the first group of links. A list of integrations will now be shown.
- Click the ESRI maps option in the list of integrations. The ESRI maps integration form will open.

Public Map (GUID) | The unique identifier for the map in ArcGIS online that is used as the default base map. eg. 6154256ef2224a4c94f3a1a293c9173b . This map must be shared with "Everyone (public)". Once you've saved the map, the GUID is visible on the Content details page for the map (labelled ID) and also in the url in ArcGIS Online | ✅ |
Folder | The folder in ArcGIS online within which maps for use with Jadu Central will be stored. These maps will be made available to embed in the ESRI map supplement and widget. eg. Website | ✅ |
Pointer | The location of the image to use as location pointer. By default this is a green stick pin image. | ✅ |
Geometry service URL | Location of the ArcGIS geometry service API endpoint. | ✅ |
Map zoom level | Zoom level options to provide when rendering ArcGIS maps. | |
Default location | Maps will be centred here if no location data is available for a particular map. | |
CMS | When either Documents or Events are enabled, data from the location fields in these areas will be used to populate a map in ArcGIS online. | |
Forms | When enabled, ESRI maps will be used to display map data in Jadu Central forms in place of other solutions, such as Google Maps or Open Street Maps. |

Once the ESRI ArcGIS integration has been set up, you can use it to embed maps using the associated Directory field type, Homepage widget and Page supplement.
Troubleshooting
If you're having difficulty embedding ESRI ArcGIS online maps with Jadu Central, please check the following:
- Ensure that any ESRI ArcGIS online map you're referencing has been made public. Only public maps can be embedded using the integration. Further details are available in the ESRI ArcGIS online documentation.
