DfT Blue Badge Service
Jadu Central can integrate with the DfT Blue Badge Service to:
- retrieve data from blue badge applications
- search for existing blue badges

We advise that customers sign up to the Blue Badge service mailing list to ensure that they are notified of any changes to the service.
Any changes to functionality are generally deployed to the "Integration" environment before rolling out to production, so we would advise that on receipt of such a notification, customers test any forms which make use of the integration, against the Integration environment, to ensure that they still function as expected.
Integration elements
The integration consists of:
- a predefined logic to retrieve field values from a blue badge application
- an integrated component to look up existing blue badges, based on a search criteria of name and postcode
- a form action to allow files from a blue badge application to be attached to a Jadu Connect case

Integration Log
The integration 'Log' tab displays a record of:
- actions carried out and (where applicable) which Administrator was responsible
- when the integration was enabled and disabled
- any errors returned from the Blue Badge Service when testing the supplied details
- any errors that occur when interacting with the Blue Badge Service as part of a form submission.
The log shows the most recent 250 entries, and can be searched by date, Administrator, error text or status.
