Managing bookings

It is possible to view all existing event bookings in the Manage Bookings interface.

Bookings are managed via the Forms menu.

If your account has permission to access bookings, you navigate to their management area by the following:

  1. Click the Forms icon in the left navigation bar. The Forms menu will open.
  2. Click the Bookings link. This provides a list of all bookings in the system. The list can be filtered from the Actions menu.

Amending a booking

It is possible to update existing bookings in the Manage Bookings interface.

  1. Navigate to the booking management area and open the booking to be amended.
  2. The title, location, description and time slot of a booking can be changed. Changing these details in Jadu Central will automatically update the external calendar in Outlook.
  3. To update the time slot, click the Change button next to 'Booked Slot'. A calendar will open up, showing available days. Any day that is greyed out contains no available slots. Clicking a day will show the bookable slots for that date. After clicking the Choose button on one of the slots, the page will update to show you what the booking will be changed to. At this point it is possible to change the date again, or cancel the change.
  4. Click the Save button. the system will attempt to update the external event, making checks to ensure the slot is still available before making any changes. If the change is still possible, the booking will be updated.

Read-only Bookings

It may not be possible to update some bookings.

In order to update a booking, the calendar and the form question used for the booking must still exist.

If either has been removed, bookings will show as read-only, and it will not be possible to change them.

Deleting a Booking

It is possible to delete existing event bookings in the Manage Bookings interface.

  1. Navigate to the booking management area.
  2. Click the checkbox next to the rows to be deleted.
  3. Open the Actions menu and select Delete from the available options. A confirmation window will open.
  4. Confirm the deletion, the window will close and the data will be removed.

Deletion is a one way action and cannot be reversed.
