Blocking events

If you want to prevent bookings for a period of time which would normally be bookable for the configuration, for example, public holidays, you need to create blocking events in Outlook.

Blocking events are events that are created directly in the Outlook calendar that have not been created by Jadu Central. When displaying events in the event booking component calendar the events from Outlook are compared with the booking periods and if an unrecognised event is retrieved from Outlook this will act as a blocking event and the booking period will not be shown.

warning

Only a maximum of 50 events from the current day of the month to the last day of the month can be retrieved from Outlook, where more than 50 events (made up of blocking and Jadu Central created events) are present in Outlook only the first 50 events will be retrieved. This will result in a non bookable day being displayed as bookable.
