Segments
Segments are used for price groupings, for example: concessions, carer, staff, charity.
Viewing Segments
Segments are displayed showing:
- Name
- Slug
- Type
- Price Modifier
- Number of rules
Editing Segments
Click on a Segment name to edit the Segment details.
Creating a Segment
To create a Segment:
- Click the New Segment button
The following fields are provided to store data about Segments.

| Name | A name to describe this pricing rule. This must be unique. For example: Concession | ✅ |
| Slug | This must be unique. | ✅ |
| Type | Choose between a percentage or a flat fee | ✅ |
| Price Modifier | Enter the adjustment value. For Flat Fee, enter the amount to add to the price. For Percentage, enter a value below 100% to reduce or above 100% to increase the price. For a percentage change you must include % | ✅ |
Deleting a Segment
You are unable to delete a Segment that has been used in a rule. To delete a Segment you must remove its use from all Pricing Groups associated with the Segment.
- Tick the Segment(s) that you would like to delete.
- Click the Actions drop down. Choose Delete selected
