Workflow modes

Within Jadu Central, the Standard Workflow is enabled by default and keeps workflow limited to two step approval.

A Content editor authors the content, and then submits it to a Webmaster for approval.

note

To create custom workflows, Advanced workflow must be enabled.

Changing workflow mode

To change the current workflow mode:

1. Navigate to the workflow management area.
2. Click the Actions button, and select Enable advanced workflow or Enable standard workflow as applicable. The workflow mode of the site will be updated.

warning

Ensure that there are no tasks in flight when the workflow mode is changed, to prevent issues where tasks can no longer be completed.
