Onboarding guide

This guide is for organisations who are implementing, or are considering implementing, Jadu Community Central.

It is intended to provide a high-level outline of who will need to be involved from an organisation, the process and tasks that will be required, and instructions for getting started.

This guide is intended for Managers, Heads of Departments / Service, Business Analysts, and Project Managers.

Influencing Factors

There are influencing factors to be considered when estimating and planning the length of an implementation and project schedule:

  • The number of additional modules purchased
  • The requirement for any custom developments or professional services
  • Technical architecture, server and network configuration
  • The chosen design process
  • Implementation and testing of the platform
  • Availability of in-house skills and resources
  • Business process analysis and prioritisation of processes and online forms to be built to provide the greatest value
  • Content governance and management planning
  • Project governance
  • Project initiation assesses all these factors required to develop a realistic project schedule

Project Timescales

A typical Jadu Community Central project duration is between 3 - 8 months depending on:

  1. The number of services required for launch
  2. Whether the Confirm instance has all the required data in appropriate structures (e.g. Assets, Service/Subject codes, Attributes)
  3. The required dependencies all being available
  4. The approach taken for the design and build of templates (redesign or theme)
  5. The amount of content and resources available from the organisation
