Training and Content Population
Training plays a fundamental part in ensuring success of the project. It provides the skills and knowledge required to utilise the software to its fullest potential.
Jadu provides different training offerings, most of which can be self taught online, at your own pace and convenience.
Platform training
There are a range of courses available for each Jadu product, which are tailored to the different roles within your organisation. On completion, team members leave with invaluable learnings and new skills.
Jadu Central Content Training
Our Jadu Central Content Training ranges from basic free training, to more in-depth comprehensive training. We ensure you and your teams have the skills and knowledge to manage content effectively.

Jadu can also offer Content or Accessibility Training courses focusing on how to improve your web content and keep up to date with the latest Accessibility Guidelines and best practices.

Content Population
Most content can be added to Jadu Central in parallel to the design / build taking place. Good quality content should not be reliant on any design elements, and all publishing features can be used with the default vanilla templates to facilitate migration as early as possible during the project.
The only exception to this would be the development of landing pages using Jadu central’s Homepages feature, as the design / build process will define which widgets (standard and catalogue) will be deployed.
Before beginning any migration we recommend that the following things are taken into account where appropriate:
- The development of a formal content strategy outlining all content governance processes and style guide (for example, voice and tone guidelines, points of style, things to avoid, rules to determine what to publish and what not to publish, etc.)
- A full content audit
- A documented plan for migration
- A formal process for content sign off
Jadu can offer advice and guidance on each of these elements.
Building of forms (Central) and case types (Connect) - Your journey to building the perfect service
A workshop will be held with you to identify the form data capture requirements, the requirements for how the service will work for back office staff, as well as the process for keeping the customer updated about their report. The output of this workshop will be documented and provided to you for review and sign off.
The Jadu Central Forms and Jadu Connect training courses will help you to understand the core principles of building your online forms and services. Notably, in relation to Community Central, the practitioner course will look at URL parameter injection and URL redirects - both key components of a Community Central service build.
Building of the MyAccount Page
An important element of your implementation will be the creation of your customer facing MyAccount page. This page is displayed to customers when they log into their account, and will display details of any reports or service requests that they have made via an online Jadu form.
The MyAccount page is built using the Homepages feature in Jadu Central. The creation and maintenance of Homepages is covered as part of the Jadu Central Content training course, and any MyAccount specific widgets are discussed as part of the Jadu Connect training.
Jadu will also provide you with a number of configuration and test checklists to ensure that your MyAccount has been configured correctly prior to your go-live date.
URL Redirects
If you will be replacing a pre-existing site when going live, we recommend that you consider URL remapping.
Search engines will have indexed the current site and therefore, and will continue to return outdated links until your site has been re-indexed. URL remapping ensures that primary / popular links are remapped to the content on your new Jadu site. This prevents users seeing 404 errors (page not found).
Please see the URL Redirect template that can be used to populate links. URL remapping can be a big task and it is strongly recommended this is worked on in parallel when content or forms are added into the new CMS.
Note: Jadu resources will be required to deploy the redirects once the document has been completed hence, should be reserved in advance.
