Sharing content between sites

Content from the main Jadu Central site can be shared with Galaxies sites on the same installation. Any changes to the content on the main site will be automatically reflected in the Galaxies site version.

Content share panel

note

Content can only be shared from the main site to a Galaxies site. The content must be approved prior to sharing, and the Galaxies site to which it is shared must have a published category list containing at least one category.

If the shared content is deleted, the content will also be removed from each site it has been shared with.

  1. Open the content you wish to share for editing.
  2. Click the Actions menu and click the Share option when the menu opens. The "Share" panel will open.
  3. If the content has not been previously shared, click the Share now button. If it has been previously shared, click the Add another button. Further form controls will be shown to share your content.
  4. Select the site name from the dropdown menu, and assign a category from the destination site to the piece of content. Allocate an owner for the content on the destination site.
  5. Select a sharing method for the content.
  6. Click the Add button to share the content with the destination site.
