Changing your password

If you use another system to authenticate with Jadu Central, such as Jadu Connect or LDAP, you will need to change your password in that system, and may not be able to access this page.

If your password becomes known to other people, you will need to change it.

To change your password, try the following:

  1. Click the admin menu in the top toolbar, and select Change password.
  2. Enter your old password, your new password and then confirm your new password.
  3. Click the Save button to save the changes.

Password complexity​

There are several rules around your new password, such as:

  • passwords are case-sensitive and shouldn't contain special characters.
  • passwords must be of a given length and complexity. The rules for this will be different for each organisation, but the help text on the page will explain what they are.
  • your password may expire after a number of days.
  • you may be prevented from reusing an old password, depending on the rules at your organisation.
