Test Cases

General Releases

  • Make sure readable URLs are turned on and off (this is to enable the feature)
  • Check correct version of Content Portal is installed (if specified)
  • Icons are present and displaying correctly
  • Check homepage content can be created (Publishing > Homepages)
  • Correct text editor is installed and working (CKEditor)
  • Check homepage created can be submitted, previewed and viewed live
  • Check preview matches live view
  • Check a form can be imported
  • Check imported form can be made live and submitted
  • Check navigation through form operates correctly (next, previous)
  • Review the submitted form in the Control Center
  • Generate a pdf from the submitted form
  • Check PDF link is present on the completed page if added and generated
  • Create a form and check page templates and can be created and added
  • Export the created form
  • Check print preview from forms
  • Check if there are console errors (right click > inspect element on web site in chrome) there should be no red errors on homepages or forms
  • Check readable URLs (/xfp/forms etc)
  • Does breadcrumb in /xfp/forms and generally have correct styling?
  • Review styling generally for any obvious inconsistencies or corrupted content

Specific Content Portal Test

  • Check Perceptive is present in the integrations hub
  • Ensure connection to Perceptive through Integration Server. If so, the Documents/Views should be populated.
  • Check 3 Perceptive widgets are present and available for selection in homepage creation
  • Add these widgets to a homepage and check they are showing correctly with editable options on the widgets
  • Check these widgets are shown correctly on the live page
  • Check the Perceptive form action is available for selection in a form and mapped to the form fields
  • Check there are no errors showing with any required specified integrations on the integrations page
  • Check date format is correct locale (e.g. en_US or en_GB)
