FAQs

Where can I find information about product updates?

How often does Jadu Content Portal receive version updates?

Jadu Content Portal is built upon the Jadu Central product which receives updates following Agile methodology every month.

How many forms can I publish?

Jadu Content Portal is licensed in three tiers and your organization will have purchased one of the following tiers:

  • Entry Level License - Up to 25 Live Forms
  • Standard License - Up to 50 Live Forms
  • Enterprise License - Unlimited Live Forms

If you think you will need more live forms (published and collecting submissions) you can contact your Jadu Customer Success Executive or your partner Account Executive to upgrade.

You can also develop as many forms as you need on your DEV (development or test) environment.

The only limitation of license tiers 1 and 2 are the number of Live, published forms.

Jadu Control Center admins, whilst unlimited under an Enterprise License range between 1 and 500 depending on the feature-set and scale of deployment.

Developers can range from between 1 and 10 depending on size of development team.

Each Support account is limited to 5 users under a standard support agreement.

When is the Jadu installation date?

Rhis will be discussed in the Project Start Meeting which is scheduled after we receive a Purchase Order from either your organisation or a reseller partner organization depending on how your JADU platform has been purchased.

What is the first step?

We will arrange a product orientation either via webex or on site depending on the size of implementation.

What is the agenda for orientation?

We send an agenda prior to the orientation session. The orientation is a standard process, however depending on the professional services engagement and custom needs you might have within your project, the agenda may vary.

How long does the installation take?

Typically, it takes a day for a Jadu Certified Engineer to install both UAT and Prod.

What is needed for the installation?

Remote Admin/Root Access to the Environment, Software, Server, Database. See the link at the top of this page for System Requirements for the supported infrastructure information.

Who is doing the installation?

Jadu will install on both UAT and LIVE.

Do I need separate licenses for TST and PRD?

Environments have unique licenses attached, and typically two are installed and licensed (UAT and Prod) during implementation. You can also create your own DEV machines (in case your developers want to develop integrations, form components or custom widgets)

Will we have full admin rights and access to begin work after the install?

Yes. If you are hosted on-premise, once the server is installed, Jadu simply needs access to help you maintain your system in case a problem occurs.

Is Installation included in contract with no extra charge?

Not normally; all Content Portal projects should have an amount of services to install, configure and implement the system.

Is training included in the license? Where is the training and what does it consist of?

Training is typically included in implementation contracts and links to the self-guided training will be provided during the project.

  • The self-guided training covers all aspects of creating, managing forms and homepages including integration with Onbase and Content Portal, and more.
  • Workflows are handled in the ECM system (i.e Hyland Perceptive Content). and out of the scope of the content portal training - however we do train on the Content Portal integration with ECM (i.e Hyland Perceptive Content).

What is Certification? How? When?

  • Certification is for ensuring that your knowledge and skills in the Jadu platform are maintained and is an essential part of the investment your organization makes in purchasing Content Portal.

Certification are not needed for PRD (LIVE) installation as Jadu will deliver this.

However, it is recommended for the customer to apply updates (released every few months as a continuous release cycle).
