Manual mappings

Mappings are the records that link an item of content in one language to an item of content in another. There may be rare occasions where you need to add or remove a mapping that has been created in error.

To manage mappings manually, try the following:

1. Click the Settings icon in the left navigation bar. The Settings menu will open.
2. Click the Translations link in the fourth group of links. A list of mappings will now be shown.
3. Click New mapping. The mapping form will open.
4. Complete the required fields. The dropdowns will prefill with relevant data based on the selections you make.
5. Click Save to save your changes.

Mappings can be removed by clicking the Delete button.

Mapping fields

Field	Notes	Required?
Galaxies site	The site of origin for the translated content.
Content type	The type of content of the translated content.
Content item	The record related to the translated content.
Translations	List of translations of this content, on sites in this translation group.
