Managing General blog settings
- Click the Settings icon in the left navigation bar.
- The General settings form will now be shown.
General settings fields
| Field | Description |

| Blog name | The name of the blog |
| Friendly URL | The shortcut to access the blog on your website |
| Email address | The email address of the first blog author |
| Blog description | Short description of the blog, used in the blog sidebar |
| Categories | Taxonomy categories assigned to the blog |
| Metadata | Metadata values assigned to the blog |
| Live | The status of the blog |
