Emergency Communications Module

Overview​

The Emergency Communication module allows you to prominently display critical information to all visitors on your website during emergency or important situations, such as Operation London Bridge or other events.

Key Features​

  • Emergency Communication Interface: A new "Emergency Communication" section is available in the site Control Center. Here you can:
    • Create drafts of your emergency message content
    • Preview how the message will appear on the website
    • Publish the drafted message to make it go live
  • Site Appearance Customisation: The module provides a "Site Appearance" interface where you can toggle various website appearance options during the emergency situation, such as:
    • Dark mode header
    • Additional appearance options (by request) This allows you to adjust the overall look and feel of the site to match the tone of the emergency communication.
  • Draft Review and Publishing: Before publishing, you can review drafts of your emergency message content and preview exactly how it will appear to visitors. Once ready, you can publish the drafted message with a single "Publish" action.
