User Matching After Sign In
Existing Jadu Connect User Account
If a user already has a native Jadu Connect account, they will not be able to log in using SAML authentication until their SAML ID has been set on their user record. This ensures that their existing account is properly linked with their SAML authentication details. Once configured, their Jadu Connect account will be linked to SAML authentication, allowing seamless future logins.
New Jadu Connect User
If the user does not already have a Jadu Connect account, a new account will be created automatically upon their first SAML sign-in. Their access to Jadu Connect will be determined by the permissions assigned to their account. These permissions are configured based on the user type, group, and role settings. Staff and Non-Staff users can be setup to have separate initial permissions.
New user permissions are configured in System > Integrations Hub > SAML Authentication > Matching Attributes.
