User interface

Pulsar is the User Experience and Interface framework for all Jadu software and has been open sourced. It is actively managed by a team of engineers and supports the implementation of features and changes from a UI perspective.

We aim for AA compliance in all our software interfaces. Pulsar mandates the use of AA compliant contrasting colours for relevant UI elements, labels and notifications as well as automatically including ARIA attributes for form controls and interactive elements.

All software UIs are accessibility tested as part of our “definition of done”, and video/animations are tested using the PEAT Photosensitive Epilepsy Analysis Tool.

Jadu Central interfaces are simple and always designed for non-technical users to ensure they are intuitive and user friendly.

Pulsar user interface library is an open source project, and its documentation is available online.
