Releases
Jadu Central is updated regularly.
We aim to deliver new feature releases every quarter, with interim releases providing bug fixes, security updates, and other improvements as they become available. Both feature releases and maintenance releases are designed to be backwards compatible and can typically be applied directly to your installation without requiring any additional changes.
From time to time, we also release major versions that may introduce backwards-incompatible changes. We aim to release major versions no more than once per year. These releases may require changes to custom integrations, themes, or other bespoke developments to ensure continued compatibility with the platform.
We provide updates to the most recent three major Jadu Central versions at the following levels:
| Major version | New features | Bug fixes | Security updates |
|---|---|---|---|
| Latest (Central 4.x) | ✅ | ✅ | ✅ |
| Previous (Central 3.x) | ✅ | ✅ | |
| Legacy (Central 2.x) | ✅ |
Each time a new major version is released, it becomes the 'Latest' and what was the 'Legacy' version moves out of support entirely.
Customers are strongly encouraged to keep up to date to ensure their Jadu Central platform is secure.
We recommend reviewing the release notes and upgrade guidance before applying any major version upgrade.
