Theme Settings Overview

The Origin Theme Settings allow you to customise the look and feel of your website with an intuitive, no-code interface. From branding and layout options to navigation and accessibility features, these settings give you full control over key design elements.

Use this page to configure:

Branding & Colours – Set your site logo, favicon, brand colours, and header styling.
Homepage Options – Customise the welcome message, search block, and background image.
Navigation & Content Display – Manage header/footer links, sign-in options, and news/event layouts.
Social Media Links – Add links to Facebook, X (Twitter), Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Bluesky.
Advanced Customisation – Use CSS and HTML overrides for fine-tuned styling.

Accessing Theme Settings

All customisation options for the Origin Theme can be found under Site Settings. To access this area:

Click the Settings icon in the left navigation bar. The Settings menu will open.
Click the Site Settings link in the fifth group of links. The Site Settings form will now be shown.
Click the Theme Settings tag.

Saving & Applying Changes

After making customisations, always click "Save" at the bottom of the page.

Ensuring WCAG 2.2 Compliance

Use high contrast colours for readability.
Ensure uploaded images include alt text.
Regularly test for screen reader compatibility.
