Spell checking in Jadu CMS has historically used an application specific database table, which was difficult to maintain, and limited our ability to regionalise spellings for customers. The new spell checking technology is easier to maintain and install, and also has a far improved experience for US and Australian customers.
Who will receive the new spellchecker?
New installs, existing customers can get it as well, but a system administrator may need to make changes to your environment to allow you to use the new spellchecker.
When will this change take place?
The software changes required to support the new spell checker will occur in 21.0.0.
