Important Information Regarding Microsoft Office 365 Integration and Calendar Functionality

What Happened?

As of today, Microsoft has disabled parts of the Outlook REST API. This change affects users who have configured their Microsoft Office 365 integration using Outlook REST API v2.0, potentially rendering some calendar functionalities unavailable.

Our Response

In preparation for this, we released an update to the Microsoft Office 365 integration in Jadu Central 2.2. This update ensures compatibility with the Microsoft Graph API, providing a new way to manage your calendar functionalities.

Current Situation

We understand that some of our customers have not migrated to Microsoft Graph API or are using a version of our software that does not include this latest update.

We are currently working on backporting the necessary support for the Microsoft Graph API into an existing version. This effort aims to quickly restore your calendar booking service without requiring a complete system upgrade.

Configure Your Integration

You will need to configure your Microsoft Office 365 integration to use the Microsoft Graph API. This will restore your calendar booking functionality.

To do this:

  1. Click the Settings icon in the left navigation bar. The Settings menu will open.
  2. Click the Integrations link in the first group of links. A list of integrations will now be shown.
  3. Click the Office 365 option in the list of integrations. The Office 365 integration form will open.
  4. Remove any authorized accounts by clicking the Cross icon next to the account username. A confirmation window will open. Click the Remove button to confirm you want to make the change.
  5. Once all authorized accounts have been removed, change the Azure AD version to Graph. Click the Save button to save your changes.
  6. Click the Connect Account button. Complete the Microsoft authentication process, and accept permissions requested. Once the process is complete, the authorized account will be shown in the list and your service will be restored.
